REVIEWS
Queen Freda and the Dangerous Dragon is a charming book about a loving wiener dog named none other than Queen Freda. Freda's inexorable quest to change the world with her innate wisdom and compassion is brilliant. She inspires us to lead with grace and dignity as she confidently rules the day with her most colorful personality and wardrobe. Ann Iverson's words and illustrations come together to create an emotional and colorful explosion. Children and adults everywhere will enjoy the honesty and the simplicity of Freda's message.
A land of dachshunds, a much-loved bejeweled and bedazzled queen, a whiskered cat that fearlessly faces dragons, and a moat of pink Kool-Aid -- Queen Freda and the Dangerous Dragon is a refreshing dance of imagination. The word choices are exquisite, bringing me to smile and making the book fun to read aloud to the kids. The illustrations are bright and lively. This is a book I recommend and will buy myself again for gifts.
Queen Freda to the Rescue in New York City is great story with wonderful, happy images. Freda is a true leader always in the middle of the excitement. The language in this delightful book like "Hooty Von Hootin Hausen" and a store called "Neiman Barkus" are whimsical. Even though this is a children's book the lesson is for all ages, that understanding where others are coming from and kindness toward others can solve most any problem. Such a sweet book but full of adventure with such great illustrations. Awesome!!
